Melissa Shelby graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas in 2004 and a Master of Science in Nursing from Union University in 2020. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She has had extensive experience in inpatient medical care as a registered nurse. Ms. Shelby joined the Vogelfanger and Struble Clinic in March 2021 as an advanced practice nurse and provides outpatient psychiatric services including psychiatric evaluation, medication management with brief supportive therapy for children, adolescents, and adults.
