Dr. Jackson has over 25 years of professional experience in child and adolescent psychiatry. He graduated with a bachelor of science from Tennessee State University in 1986 and then graduated from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee in 1991. Dr. Jackson completed a general residency in adult psychiatry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and completed two years as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from 1994 to 1996 also at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Dr. Jackson is a partner and joined the practice in 2007. His realm of practice includes outpatient services, acute hospitalization, residential treatment of children and adolescents, and community mental health in north Mississippi. He is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Mississippi.
