Jennifer Thorsen is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Baptist College of Health Sciences, completed in 2019.
Before specializing in mental health, Jennifer spent seven years as a Labor and Delivery nurse, with a strong focus on high-risk obstetrics. Her clinical experience and personal journey as a mother of a child with Autism have shaped her deep commitment to supporting individuals through the prenatal and postpartum periods, as well as those navigating Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Jennifer provides outpatient psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and adults, with an emphasis on diagnostic evaluation, medication management, and supportive therapy. She is dedicated to creating a compassionate and empowering space for every individual she serves.
