Shannon Y. Pitts, MD
Dr. Pitts graduated from East Tennessee State University, James H. Quillen College of Medicine in 2006. She completed her residency in Psychiatry at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where she was Chief Resident in 2010. She then completed a Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Dr. Pitts is a board eligible psychiatrist and licensed to practice in Tennessee. She is currently a partner with the Vogelfanger & Struble Clinic, Medical Director and Chairman of the Adult/Geriatric Psychiatric Unit at Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis, and Medical Director of Oak Hills Behavior Center in Jackson, TN. Her realm of practice includes inpatient and outpatient management for geriatric and adult patients for treatment of dementia.
